GT7 announced

Gran Tusimo 6 is not officially released yet but already there are rumors about the next edition of this incredibly race legend: Gran Turismo 7! Where GT6 will be released in a few weeks for the Playstation 3 (December 6, 2013), GT7 will be made for the Playstation 4. Obviously this is not very spectacular news, there will be a new game for a new console, big surprise right? However, the big news is that CEO of Polyphony Digital and creator of Gran Turismo, Kazunori Yamauchi announced that this new edition could be ready as soon as 2014.

Of course this is a “best case scenario”, which means that it could easily become 2015 before we can play the new Gran Turismo on Playstation 4, but Kazunori Yamauchi said “the PS4's hardware is much better” which will result in less time to develop the new game. In an interview with BBC’s TopGear Yamauchi said that “We don't want to take too long on Gran Turismo 7”, unlike the previous editions which in some cases took 5 years to develop. This could mean that we’ll be playing GT7 on Playstation 4 in 2014 or early 2015!

GT6 is pushing the limits of the Playstation 3 which has increased the development time dramatically. The result is stunning, from what we’ve seen so far, so we can only imagine what Polyphony Digital can do with the hardware on the Playstation 4. With the release of the Playstation 4 the old Playstation 3 gets outdated. However, if you’re looking for timeless game hardware that complements the Gran Turismo games you may want to take a look at the Playseat® Gran Turismo. This special edition by Playseat® is made of high quality materials and features a foldable design, comfortable fabric and full adjustability. Best of all? The Playseat® Gran Turismo is compatible with any console, like the Playstation 3, Playstation 4 but also the XBOX One and any race game, like Gran Turismo 6 and Gran Turismo 7!
